In order to increase the visibility of sites in your Community and generate revenue, you may choose to feature three sites, which are listed at the top of the Community's Hub Page, above the other member sites.
Through a bid system in which you set the minimum amount, sites in your Community may pay for this higher ranking and appear as a featured site. Featured site revenues are shared with WebRing:
Community Managers with WebRing 2.0 Memberships keep 75% of the proceeds.
Community Managers with WebRing 1.0 Memberships are not elligible to earn income.
Here's How It Works
WebRing will:
Furnish interested Community Members with information so they can place bids.
Provide you with a list of sites that bid (from this you may, but are not obligated to, choose up to three).
Ensure the sites have adequate credit to pay for their featured site status.
Collect member payment and transfer credit to you daily.
Generate daily revenue reports.
Payout of Featured-Sites Revenue
You may use accumulated credit for any WebRing promotion, not limited to the Community that generated the credit. Or, upon your request, WebRing will pay the balance in your account, provided it exceeds $25.00.
WebRing reserves the right to change the conditions of this program at any time.
WebRing Community Members
Community Members who are interested in paying to feature a site may go to the "Promote Your Site" option listed under Member Tools. If you have set a minimum bid amount, members will be shown that figure.
