Freewebs
To add the WebRing NavBar to your Freewebs page, follow the written tutorial provided below:
First, you need to get the NavBar code…
- Click on the My Account button in the top menu to open your account page.
- Click on the URLs tab and locate the address for your blog.
- Click “Get Navigation Code” in the Member Tools found in the left links.
- Click on "Get SSNB Code" found to the right of your blog's URL. This will open a new page with the SSNB Code.
- Copy (CTRL + C)all of the code contained within the text block.
Now, you're ready to add the NavBar to your Freewebs page…
- Log in to your Freewebs account.
- Click the "Edit My Site" button to Open the Site Manager page
- Find the page you wish to add the NavBar to and click the "Edit" link found to the right of the page title. (We recommend adding the code to the most content rich and relevant page of your Freewebs site.)
- Click the "Content Box" button found in the Page Editor toolbox to create a new content box on your site.
- Click the "HTML" button found in the Toolbox. A pop-up window will open that is labeled "Custom HTML."
- Paste (CTRL + V) the WebRing SSNB code into the Custom HTML window
- Click the "Insert" button to add the code to your page.
- Click the "Preview" button at the top right corner of the page to view the page.
- Click the "Publish" button if you're happy with the results.
That’s it! If you have successfully added the WebRing NavBar, you will see something similar to this:
