Anniversary

October marks the one year anniversary of WebRing's separation from Yahoo! For all who stuck with us from before, during, and finally post-Yahoo! we offer a heartfelt THANK YOU for hanging in there, making suggestions, and keeping WebRing alive and vital. Recall for a minute what the system was like this time last year just before migrating from Yahoo! and how it has evolved in one short year. We hope the past year has been good for you, it has been for us!

System Enhancements

September did not see a lot of new features released. We spent a good deal of the month answering support, tweaking existing features, and working on some large projects that are likely to come out in October and November. A good deal of time was spent revising and improving the checker and the Navigation Code Wizard. ring manager's and members that have not tried it really should.

More changes are due on the checker/auto-management system. Specifically, the ability to specify minimum navigation features for HTML based navigation code (obviously a non-issue for SSNB users) and, possibly, the ability to choose whether members sites must use SSNB or HTML navigation code.

Logo contest prizes

We've been delayed, but are once again in the process of designing a WebRing Logo t-shirt for contest participants. Sorry for the delay!
