There are several inexpensive options available to Community Managers wishing to increase exposure and traffic for their Ring(s).

Directory Visibility

Community Managers are not required to participate in this premuium service. It is, however, an inexpensive means of increasing traffic to your Ring, and can generally be paid for using the Featured site service available to Community Managers.

If the Community Manager chooses to take advantage of this opportunity then WebRing will be responsible for:

• Placing the designated Ring as high as possible in the chosen Category. The top three (3) positions will be charged a monthly fee of $1.00, prorated daily over a 30 day month (a little more than $0.03 daily), and the next five (5) positions will be charged a fee of $0.50 per month. This fee is subject to reduction depending on the level of participation by Community Managers.
• Collecting payment from the Community Manager (PayPal is a fast and convenient online payment system - see below). Payment must be deposited prior to listing.
• Ensuring that at the start of each day the selected rings have credit available.
• Transferring the credit from Community Manager to WebRing daily.

WebRing reserves the right to change the conditions of this program at any time.

If you are interested in participating, go to the Ring Promotion page for your Ring and check one (or both) of the Directory Placement boxes. Be sure to have a credit in your account before your ring is included. The selection will take effect the next time the directory is rebuilt (daily), with accounting being done at that time.

Additionally, you may include your ring in up to 4 additional categories, at a rate of $0.50 per category per month. This charge is calculated daily. Please note that you may not feature your ring in these additional categories.

Hub Page Advertising

If you choose to utilize this option, go to the Ring Promotion page for your Ring and fill in the necessary fields for running your own advertising. For your ad (or non-ad) to be run WebRing will charge your account a small fee of $2.50 per thousand impressions. This can most often be raised by charging for Featured sites on the Ring. Any revenue generated from running your ad in this scenario is yours to keep.

You may also supress sidebar ads (usually text ads from Google) for $3.00 per thousand page views.

Use the Subscribe button to setup a quarterly payment schedule to fund your WebRing membership. By selecting the automatic payment option your annual fees will be reduced to $32 (save $4).

Conventional mail (checks and money orders accepted) WebRing will absorb PayPal service fees for amounts of $6 and over.
