This is a web ring dedicated to the highly successful Channel 4 quiz, Countdown. The show began on November 2nd 1982 and was the very first programme on air on the channel.

Following Richard Whiteley, Desmond Lynam and Des O'Connor, Sky Sports anchor, Jeff Stelling now occupies the presenter's chair.
